Vocabulary
- 여행을 (yeohaengeul) - Travel: The object of the sentence, indicating that the action is related to traveling.
- 하면서 (hamyeonseo) - While doing: Indicates that multiple actions happened simultaneously.
- 맛있는 음식도 (masinneun eumsikdo) - Delicious food also: Indicates that delicious food was included.
- 많이 (mani) - A lot: Describes the quantity of food eaten.
- 먹고 (meokgo) - Eating: Connects the action of eating with the next action.

2. 많이 (a lot) *we use 많은, if the modifying word is a noun. ex. 많은 음식 (a lot of food)
- 매일 운동을 해서 체력이 많이 좋아졌어요.
(Maeil undong-eul haeseo chelyeog-i mani joajyeoss-eoyo.)
By exercising every day, my physical strength improved a lot.
- 그 사람은 책을 많이 읽어요. (or 많은 책을 읽어요.)
(Geu salam-eun chaeg-eul mani ilgeoyo.)
That person reads a lot of books.
- 새로운 언어를 배우는 데 시간이 많이 필요해요. (or 많은 시간이 필요해요)
(Saeroun eon-eo-reul baeu-neun de sigan-i mani pil-yoh-eyo.)
Learning a new language requires a lot of time.
3. 사귀다 (to make friends, to date)
- 대학교에서 많은 친구를 사귀었어요.
(Daehag-gyo-eseo man-eun chingu-reul sagwieoss-eoyo.)
I made many friends at university.
- 여행 중에 많은 현지 사람들과 사귀었어요.
(Yeohaeng jung-e man-eun hyeonji salamdeul-gwa sagwieoss-eoyo.)
I made many local friends during the trip.
- 온라인 게임을 하면서 새로운 친구를 사귀었어요.
